Tom Clancy, entertainer, actor, and folk-singer with his brothers The Clancy Brothers...a group of such immense influence, are part of the fabric of the Irish ethos around the world.
Tom also enjoyed a successful Hollywood and Broadway career, co-starring with the important actors of the 20th century.
He passed away in Mercy Hospital Cork on November 7th 1990.
His widow Joan runs the Joan Clancy Gallery (Gailearaí Joan
Clancy) in
Mweelahorna, Ring, Co. Waterford, Ireland; their daughters Blawnin Clancy and Rayleen Clancy are talented emerging painters and
their work forms part of civic, corporate and important private art collections; Rosemary Clancy is a digital marketing consultant based in
Dublin.
